2nd BHARAT KO JANIYE QUIZ 2018-19

The Ministry of External Affairs, Governmentof India is organising the 2nd edition of “BHARAT KO JANIYE” Quiz to motivate the overseas Indian youth to develop interest to know and understand India.
Overseas Indians (PIOs and NRIs) between the age of 15-35 years as on 1st January 2019 (Born not before 1st January 1984 and not after 1st January 2004) are eligible to participate.
Wards of NRIs/PIOs living/residing in India are otherwise eligible for contesting the quiz provided their parents meet the eligibility criteria. They should the passport details of their eligible parents.
There is NO ENTRY FEE for participation in the Quiz.
The quiz will be conducted in four rounds.
It is mandatory for the candidates to register at the portal www.bharatkojaniye.in to participate in the online/offline Quiz to be conducted by the Embassy (first round).
The first round will be conducted by the Embassy of India in Baku online/offline during 19 to 21 July 2018. The online quiz will be held at the portal www.bharatkojaniye.in and offline quiz will be held at the Embassy premises. There will be 30 questions to be answered in 25 minutes.
Some reading material is available at the portal www.bharatkojaniye.in. However, the questions in the quiz will not be limited to the reading material available at the portal. Participants are free to refer to other sources of information to prepare for the Quiz.
The top three winners in the first round will be awarded medals by the Embassy provided the total participants from Azerbaijan are more than 50. Countries with less than 50 participants would be clubbed together in a specific zone and the top three winners from each zone would be awarded medals. The top three winners in the first roundwill also qualify for the second round of quiz.
The second round of the quiz will be conducted online by the Ministry of External Affairs. There will be 60 questions to be answered in 60 minutes.
Those qualifying in the second round will be invited to travel to New Delhi for the Semi-Final and Final Rounds.
All participants, who are invited for onsite Quiz (3rd and 4th round) would attend a workshop in New Delhi and participate in the BHARAT KO JANIYE YATRA, a 15 day tour of India.
After YATRA, the final round (onsite) will be held in New Delhi and top 3 winners will be awarded medals at the PravasiBharatiya Divas Convention 2019.
All interested Overseas Indian youths (PIOs and NRIs) between the age of 15-35 as on 1st January 2019 (Born not before 1st January 1984 and not after 1st January 2004) residing in Azerbaijan may register themselves registration at the portal www.bharatkojaniye.in to participate in the online/offline Quiz to be conducted by the Embassy (first round).
