Commemoration of 75th anniversary of the 'Quit India Movement'

The 'Quit India Movement' was an important milestone in the Indian freedom struggle.  Under the leadership of Mahatma Gandhi, people across India, in every village, city transcending all barriers came together with a common mission - to uproot imperialism.  Five years after the Quit India Movement, India attained freedom on 15th August, 1947. 

          On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of Quit India Movement, Ambassador administrated a pledge. The pledge marks the theme for a mass movement during the five-year period from 2017 when we are celebrating 70 years of India's freedom to 2022 when we will commemorate 75 years of our freedom. This theme is "Sankalp se Siddhi - Attainment through Resolve'.
