  As a part of AKAM @75, on the occasion of Universal Day of Culture, organized by ASAN of Azerbaijan, Embassy of India, Baku participated in this cultural event and made stall exhibiting Indian musical instruments, Rajasthani traditional male and female dresses worn by local nationals, Indian snacks. The program was held at ASAN Service Center 5, Baku on April 15, 2022 at 9 AM for three hours. - April 16, 2022

  Embassy of India, Baku in collaboration with the Hindi Language and Culture Center of the Azerbaijan University of Languages (AUL) organized a seminar at the AUL under a project titled “India As It Is” on April 14 at 11 am. AUL Vice-Rector Ms Jala Garibova, Second Secretary of the Embassy of India Mr Ajay Kumar Pandey, and Ms Saida Mirzayeva, Director of the Hindi Language and Culture Center spoke on Indian literature and philosophy at the opening ceremony. AUL head lecturer Ms Sevda Abuzarli spoke on Vedas and Upanishads, while Mr Ramil Aliyev explained Karma to the audience. Several Indian and Azerbaijani dances were also performed at the event. The event was also attended by other senior dignitaries and students of AUL. - April 15, 2022

  The 8th edition of BEST OF INDIA - Biggest Exclusive Indian Product Trade Show was inaugurated jointly by H.E. Mr. B. Vanlalvawna, Ambassador of India to Azerbaijan, H.E. Mr. Firdovsi Aliyev, Deputy Minister of Ecology of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Mr. Sanjeev Dhir, Chairman, Wool and Woollens Export Promotion Council (WWEPC), at Baku Sport Hall, 26A M. Huseynov Street (old Neftchilar Avenue) on March 26, 2022 at 04:00 PM (1600 hrs). Representatives from Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO) under the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan, National Confederation of Entrepreneurs Organizations of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Azerbaijan also attended the inauguration ceremony.   As a part of AKAM @75, Indian Association Azerbaijan in collaboration with Embassy of India organized a cultural event on the occasion of Holi Festival on March, 19, 2022 at Kolizey Marriage Hall Babek Prospekti 25, Baku Azerbaijan. The event was attended by approx 150 Indian community members and friends from Azerbaijan. The function was inaugurated by the Ambassador, who also gave blood donation (Jan. 28) certificates to donors on the occasion. - March 22, 2022

  As a part of celebration of AKAM@75, Embassy of India, Baku organized a B2B meeting in hybrid mode on 9 March 2022 at 1500 hrs between Indian and Azerbaijani tour companies. The meeting was attended online by the representative heads of Indian tour companies and physically by the representatives of Azerbaijani tour companies and Tourism Board. During the meeting, Azerbaijani tour companies were informed by Indian companies about the various tour packages, travel destinations, best times to visit India, flight details, flight availability and current COVID-19 situation in India. - March 09, 2022

  The Embassy of India in Baku in association with Tea Board of India organized a webinar followed by B2B interactions on Indian Tea and Tea growing States of India on 17th February, 2022. The event was a part of celebrations of 75 years of India's Independence - Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and focused on states of Assam, West Bengal, Manipur, Himachal Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Tea brochures and major tourist destinations of these states were focused on during the event with distribution of tea caddies and tourism brochures. The event was attended by more than 80 representatives of the major tea exporter and importers of both countries and local media. - February 17, 2022

  As a part of the celebrations of the 73rd Republic Day of India and Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, Embassy of India, Baku in partnership with Hind Hospital, Indian Association of Azerbaijan, Baku Malayalee Association, Azerbaijan Telegu Association and Baku Tamil Sangam organized a “BLOOD DONATION DRIVE” at Hind Hospital from 1300 hrs. to 1800 hrs. on January 28. This noble initiative has been widely appreciated in the local community. - January 28, 2022
